Before and After, The Bus Stop

Before and After of a matte painting set for a film. The original one was actually done in 2009 for the 2010 film. The bettered version was done in 2011, using the same file but repainting a lot to make the environment look more detailed and realistic after some close study of Makoto Shinkai's art. The re-done character animation for this shot has taken a while (after a long long break from animating this project to work on a client's), but it's almost done.
